Federalism is the current style of government of the United States of Mexico, and Miguel Ramos Arizpe is a capital figure of the political movement. He planned the origins of a new national administration after the fall of the Mexican Empire. He was a true patriot and a lover of liberty, he dedicated his life to serve his constituents and fellow countrymen. Ramos Arizpe was a diplomat, who won the hate of the king for denouncing the tyranny and inefficiency of the Empire's administration. He is remembered as a man of wise & just character. His laborosity at all ages, his affinity for justice and order, his generosity and philanthropy, especially towards poor Americans and Spaniards. His sacrifice to make Mexico an independent and sovereign nation, has provoked people to call him a patriarch of Mexican independence and liberty.
